In another exciting episode of Survivor, teenage star Lisa Whelchel was once again the center of attention. The alliance of Pete, Abi-Maria, and Artis were fighting over Lisa's vote against the alliance of Jonathan, Denise, Carter, and Malcolm. With Lisa and Skupin as the swing votes, they decided that they should probably vote together. Abi-Maria proved to be the villainess of the game as she continued to bully Lisa. Lisa broke down and could not decide whether to continue to be loyal to her original allies or turn the game on its head.

When the votes came in, Lisa decided to stay true to her original allies even after Abi-Maria attacked her at Tribal Council. However, it was Skupin who jumped ship and sent Artis home in a 5-4 vote.
